• Hey Guest,

We will never comply with any of OFCOM's demands or any other nations censorious demands for that matter. We will only follow the laws of the land of which our server is located, which is the US.

Any demands for censorship or requests to comply with the law outside of the US will be promptly ignored.

No foreign laws or pressure will make us comply with anti-censorship laws and we will protect the speech of our members, regardless of where they might live in the world. If that means being blocked in the UK, so be it. We would advise that any UK member gets a VPN to browse the site, or use TOR.

However, today, we stand up these these governments that want to bully or censor this website.

Fuck OFCOM, and fuck any media organization or group that think it's cool or fun to stalk or bully people that suffering in this world.

Edit: We also wanted to address the veiled threats made against a staff member in the UK by the BBC in the news today. We are undeterred by any threats, intimination, by the BBC or by any other groups dedicated to doxxing and harassing our staff and members. Journalists from the BBC, CTV, Kansas Star, Daily Mail and many other outlets have continuiously ignored the fact that many of the people that they're interviewing (such as @leelfc84 on Twitter/X) and propping up are the same people posting addresses of staff members and our founders on social media. We show them proof of this and they ignore it and don't address it.They're all just as evil as each other, and should be treated accordingly. They do not care about the safety of our staff members, founders, or administrators, or even members, so why would they care about you?

Now that we have your attention, journalists, will you ever address this? You've given these evil people interviews, and free press.

I think there might be an afterlife of collective consciousness that does not experience time. I think our souls come here so we can experience the flow of time and how things change.

personally my opinion I believe in the scientific explanations. I believe that once you die, you just lose consciousness forever it just doesn't exist anymore. Scientifically consciousness is tied to the functioning of the brain, so when brain activity ceases, consciousness is lost. So what i think is that consciousness does not persist after death, as it is a product of neuronal activity or in other words, once the brain stops functioning, consciousness ceases to exist, and the person experiences nothingness.

After the brain dies the brain can no longer generate thinking ,consciousness , feelings nothing ever again. Only the brain generates all thinking consciousness feelings emotions reasoning etc. how a human thinks , memories who they think they are is only etched in the neural networks of their brain.

After Death a human ceases to exist forever . After Death is non-existence forever. I'm glad I won't exist after Death. Non-existence forever is the best thing imaginable to me. I've had much more than enough of life / consciousness / existence

I think the brain creates an simulation like a first person video game . a model of the world and as if there were a viewer looking through the eyes. that's an illusion imo. There is only a 3 pound brain inside a skull in darkness generating this video game. the brain learns about the world through senses like the eyes. the eyes just transmitt electrical pulses which the brain makes sense of to create a model of the world and the illusion there is someone there behind the eyes to view it. but this software stops once the brain is destroyed 1 micro second after Death. The brain has no vision . light sensitive cells in the eyes transmitt that info to the brain.

Consciousness is also an illusion.

"Neuroscientists are beginning to understand the brain processes underlying all this. To put it simply, light reflected from the apple stimulates light-sensitive cells in the retina, sending trains of electrochemical impulses along the optic nerve to the lateral geniculate nucleus and then on to the visual cortex at the back of the brain. Here these signals trigger activity in hierarchically organised groups of cells specialised for the detection of increasingly complex features (edges, colours, motion, faces and so on). When you attend to what you are seeing, this visual information is 'globally broadcast' to mental systems involved in memory, reasoning, emotion and decision making, generating the host of effects mentioned. This process of global broadcast is called access consciousness, since it makes sensory information accessible to the rest of the mind, and thus to 'you' – the person constituted by these embodied mental systems. Again, I don't deny the reality of consciousness in this sense."

I agree with what he says in this video : Video title:

The Self Illusion - Why There's No 'You' Inside Your Head - Prof Bruce Hood

GPT-3 had 175 billion parameters in total; GPT-4 reportedly has 1 trillion. By comparison, a human brain has something like 100 billion neurons in total, connected via as many as 1,000 trillion synaptic connections. Vast though current LLMs are, they are still some way from the scale of the human brain

I think no matter what your beliefs about it are, that it's peaceful and that youll be set free from all you had to endure in this world. Of course nobody knows for sure what happens but I believe it'll be kinder than here.

true, just saying we're a meat loaf walking around won't make anything less confusing. I think it would be good to not have to think and worry ever again, but at the same time it still makes me kind of scared lol

i normally have a huge imagination and i could overthink a lot of things but thank god that i don't care about what happens after i die

the same thing could be asked about living. what happens if we all live and die naturally instead of attempting to ctb / actually succeed at ctb?

not trying to downtalk any fears or whatever but yea

we could have a fat conversation about the afterlife but there are so many possibilities

i mean i could even come back in the world as a cloud and roam around in the air

fun stuff cant wait

believe in what you wanna believe

you might even end up not ctb and live a happy life bc of it

who knows

There have been experiments with psychic mediums that would suggest that our mind survives the death of our bodies. But otherwise not sure what will happen and why... all kinds of theories from bliss, love to prison planet matrix.

well if you look at analytically we are just biological machines made up of around 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms , just like a computer is made up of atoms when it's breakdown it no longer functions, the human mind is a complex machine that operates on the same physical laws as all other objects in the universe, when you die it's either permanent non existence forever, or rebirth in any machine any where

We obviously don't know for sure but I believe that after death is just permanent non existence. I'm the type to trust in science and, so far, the current scientific theories all converge to conclude that after death is just permanent non existence. I may be wrong but I'm just believing in the theory with the most substantiation instead of believing in things which have no evidence for such as reincarnation, religious after life etc

obviously there is nothing after death and for you to believe that you need to believe in magic, because think about it, everything that exists only exists because it depends on our consciousness and our consciousness depends on our body so once we die everything ceases to exist

I just believe we simply cease existing and that is it, death is the absence of everything which is of course all I wish for. It comforts me to think of being unable to experience anything for all eternity, the only relief for me would lie in being eternally unconscious free from the meaningless and torturous burden of existing as a human. I only wish for non-existence, I'd always prefer to not exist, I'd never want to exist at all under any circumstance especially as existence has caused me nothing but pain.

My honest opinion is that we die. Everything stops our personal world ends like it never happened for us. Like a deep sleep with no dreams or thoughts. No memories no sensations no connections. It sounds scary af to people who like life and value their lives due to the love and comfort they have in it but for us whos existence is literally hell it's quite comforting. No one to judge you or reject you. No more waiting for things to get better only for it to get worse. No more missing people who don't want you or have passed on. Just void of everything the way it always should have been. If u think about it life is the anomaly we have never found life outside of our world and probably never will. And human beings are even weirder as we are so self aware and can have complex thoughts and think about our existence. I just feel like it was all a horrible tragedy and death is our release from it.

OK. Let us suppose there is an afterlife.

Who goes? Humans, obviously. But how far back? Did Neanderthals go to the afterlife? What about chimpanzees? Gorillas? Other mammals? Tortoises? Frogs? Goldfish? Insects? Sponges? Trees? Bacteria? What about the very first proto-cells that were just amino acids floating around inside a lipid bubble?

Considering life is just chemicals, I don't see how an afterlife can have evolved, therefore it does not exist.

almoust all replies were saying they believe there's only the void after death, and yes, I was ( maybe I still am) kind of scared of it because it's unknown... But thinking now it can actually be more conforting than having to work long hours just to have some money and to keep overthinking all the time. Also, we kind of fall into the void when we sleep, so it isn't that unnatural at all

I can't but persist on this idea that what happens once in a cosmic scale can happen again. Maybe rebirth but not reincarnation, a change of first person perspective....yet that would necessitate something to transmigrate.

Maybe the universe is in a loop? Maybe we repeat the very same lives, or a different variation of them? I cont know, I can just hope.

However logic dictates that once the brain ceases to function, it's lights out forever
