• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hi!

What happened to you after failing CTB attempt, besides of the physical issues? Were you sent and locked in to psych ward or were you just able to continue as usual?

I was locked in the psych ward every time. Sometimes for days, sometimes weeks.

After my latest CTB attempt ~9 years ago, I was in the ICU in a coma for weeks. As soon as I was conscious again, they moved me to the psych ward.

I got 3 years of visits & supervision by Community Psychiatric Nurses plus overviews by a Consulting Psychiatrist & GP. The only reason I wasn't sectioned was because the nearest available institution is around 100 miles away and is always overcrowded. However almost the first thing the CPNs said to me on their initial visit was that they wouldn't hesitate to have me committed at the first sign of non co-operation, and I wouldn't like it.
This is in the UK.

I was in a coma for 2 days and i woke in a hospital (not a psych ward), i had severe difficulty at movement and maintaining my balance for around a week, this was a result of a carbamazepine overdose

First time (chloroform) I woke up and immediately puked all over the floor. Told my partner I was having an anxiety attack. Had vertigo for three days. No hospital/psych hold.

Second time (partial) I just took down the rope very annoyed and went about my day.

I love the psychology of "saving" people from death by threatening them with medical prison. 🙄
