i had therapy today for 90 minutse and said about 3 words
the woman just sat on her phone the whole time
i want to talk to people cuz its the only way i feel better and connected but then its jst nothing cz we dont talk abt nothing

I distract myself as best I can, but it's hard to find something that works, especially for longer than a day or two.

Is there something that hooks you in? I spent a ridiculous amount of time locked into a reddit about a reality TV show. I am fascinated by the production side of reality TV, so it was very interesting to see the public comment on it, and to offer my own commentary about how production works. But obviously this is a me specific thing.

If you're looking to pass the time, that's the only time I have a vacation from thinking about dying, planning it, and ruminating on all the ways I've been harmed or too useless to be here.

Video games? Making music? Helping people here on the recovery forum? An art project? A ridiculously pointless exercise of free will? Watching stand up comedy? Taking apart something like a microwave, and trying to put it together again? I dunno, these are just ideas. Anything to fill the time and have a break can help me. Not to stop the CTB process, but just to be able to think about literally anything else.
