I love crime shows, documentaries, near death experiences, and those who attempted suicide and their story to a happy life. I often wonder if that could ever be me?
Why not meditate all day?Daydreaming is my primary distraction. The real world doesn't work well for me, so I've always preferred to live in my head. It's been getting harder to daydream nowadays though...
Honestly never tried it As a very anxious person, I've always been kind of intimidated by meditation
Oh lol Maybe this one will work better. He has many types on his page like for insomnia, etcThat made me kinda restless My brain doesn't like to stop
Is that something that works well for you?
Meditation is a really hard skill to master and it's so much more difficult when you have lots of racing thoughts. I'm sure everyone's experience is different but I find it's more effective for me when I'm not super restless. However, meditation music has a really calming effect for me and makes it easier to turn off my brain when I need some sleep. That made me kinda restless My brain doesn't like to stop

Any recommendations? I could use some more relaxing music! And yeah meditation seems pretty toughWatching YT video essays, gaming, playing the piano, reading, gym. Just anything that keeps my mind busy

Headspace's guided meditations have worked well for me. They have some great entry-level guided meditations on Netflix. That made me kinda restless My brain doesn't like to stop

We have that in common. I've always lived in a fantasy world. The "real" world is just too dangerous.Daydreaming is my primary distraction. The real world doesn't work well for me, so I've always preferred to live in my head. It's been getting harder to daydream nowadays though...
