• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

When it comes to putting your neck on a train track and beheading yourself, how can cowcatchers prevent this or leave you disabled?

There primary purpose is to prevent damage or derailment of the train.

There are lifeguards Infront of the first set of wheels on trains in my country, your neck would have to clear this (very unlikely) to be ran over by the wheels.

I once had the naĆÆve idea that I'd just need to whack my neck on the tracks and then it would be over.

Railway suicides are often much less predictable than that, front locomotives are designed to displace obstacles on the rail.

I've seen some quite clean attempts that have targeted wheels on later carriages, events in Russia and the far East.

I Imagine it's just sheer kinetic energy in most successful attempts but I don't know, I'm often surprised by how they pan out.

Many don't like this method because you effectively force others to participate in your attempt.

So it effectively prevents the beheading. Thanks.
