Is it possible that the wire or rope won't shut my veins and I will be there hopeless hanging without actually dying? Like conscious?

I've seen so many gore videos of people hanging with sheets on ceiling fans and they all died withing a couple of minutes, but I'm afraid of doing it myself and not losing consciousness.

Can someone help me understanding this?

Not super educated on full suspension method but some problems are that the rope could snap midway, and if it snaps while successfully axphysating (not sure how to spell that) you, it could leave you with long term damage.

I think because of gravity if you are fully suspended the rope will automatically be in the right place at the top where your carotid artery is. But you can probably feel the cutoff of oxygen, dizziness, etc after a while and be sure. I can imagine not being sure for a while would be really frightening though.

Me being me, I would recommend keeping a chair or something you can go on to if you feel as though something wrong, or if you just change your mind in the moment.

I've watched so many videos of people hanging themselves and they all got uncunscious pretty quick, only a few of them were conscious for more than one minute or two...

this is not a good idea because survival instics will really activate, I've tried partial hanging many times and always survived because of instinct sadly, there was this one time I was almosting passing out but I stood up and stopped... I have to say I was in shock after that, I had to sit on the couch for a few minutes in order to get my breath on point again and chill myself, because I almost blacked out.
