Right now, I'm reading The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge by Carlos Castaneda.

I'll be re-reading all three books, including A Separate Reality and Journey to Ixtlan, after having learned some new things... I'm only a quarter of the way through the first in the series, and already understanding certain things much more than when I first read this book many years ago.

Are you currently into a book? If so, what are you reading?
I love those three. Read each multiple times. Castaneda was an interesting individual.

Right now I'm into a few different manuals and books... for some reason I can never just read one book at a time, any more. Must be gettin' old, or somethin'. Anyway, here's my current list:

"Hypnotism" by George Hoben Estabrooks

"Simple Sabotage Field Manual" Strategic Services Field Manual #3

"The Open Conspiracy" by H.G. Wells

"What is the Internet of Bodies" -Rand corp.

"5.3.6 CUMULATIVE ANALYSIS OF POST-AUTHORIZATION ADVERSE EVENT
REPORTS OF PF-07302048 (BNT162B2) RECEIVED THROUGH 28-FEB-2021" -Pfizer

"FM 34-36 SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES INTELLIGENCE AND ELECTRONIC WARFARE OPERATIONS" -US Army

Thinking and Destiny -Harold Percival

"BREAKING OTHER PEOPLES TOYS: SABOTAGE IN A MULTIPOLAR WORLD" Daniel Meegan

And

Gnosis, a Manifestation Manual -Neville Goddard

This was last week's list. I'll have "Thinking and Destiny" done tonight, but I've read the rest, at this point. Most are a pretty quick read... but the pfizer papers are like a subscription service to a magazine you hate... dull as hell, maddening, and seemingly endless. No small task, that.

Upgrade by Blake Crouch but I'm certainly taking my sweet old time to do it. It's not even that long of a book... around 300-400pages...I think I'm about to hit the 100 page mark. In modern society when you're not incarcerated I find reading books to be like nearly impossible to do...

The History of Jazz by Ted Gioia. I find it fascinating, but I'd imagine that it would be boring to anyone who isn't absolutely in love with all forms of jazz.

I enjoy reading fantasy books (probably to escape this world for a while, in some way). Heard good things about the book series 'Mistborn' from Brandon Sanderson, so currently reading through that trilogy. Quite nice so far.

Rereading the Takeshi Kovacs novels, Altered Carbon, Broken Angels and Woken Furies by Richard K. Morgan. Altered Carbon was made into a Netflix series, but it is different from the book.

Pulp science fiction, with some b.s. philosophy, but a lot of fun, don't take it seriously.

I'm currently reading The Trial by Frank Kafka. I recently read his diary entries and Metamophosis, another story by him, and I have basically become completely obsessed^^

Oh no way this is awesome, I love Castaneda. Those books have some seriously powerful wisdom, goes right to the core of things. I've been rereading them

I'm between books in a reading slump. The last book I read was Tender Is The Flesh by Augustina Bazterrica. I think the next book I'll read is Strawberry Lane by Jodi Thomas, but it might be something else

I've been simultaneously reading East of Eden and rereading Time of Contempt (5th or 6th read).
Oh I really liked East of Eden. I remember it took my two summers to finish it though lol. But it was nice in a melancholic sort of way
Wheel of Time: The Great Hunt (Book 2)

I appreciate Robert Jordan's prose. It's not eloquent often, but it doesn't go overboard or skimp on details. The plot generally moves at a reasonable pace.

I am just the starting with the first book Eye of the World. I love his writing!
