What are your reasons for being alive right now?

My family's pretty nice, so the emotional stress I'd cause isn't making me rush. I also am somewhat hesitant due to the permanence of death and the chances of an unknowable afterlife. Hopefully I can have an episode or something where I do it without thinking.

I don't have a reason that keeps me going as sad as it sounds, the only reason I'm alive is because my prior attempts failed. Life sucks but I'm not looking to be forced to live thru another failed attempt with the possibilities of becoming disabled until I have the resources to do it right this time. I have no idea why I'm still here, my life is nothing. It's my birthday next week and as always I'll be alone.

Holding out 'til the end of summer, or the height of it depending on how I feel. I want to upload a bunch of my writing onto a website since it's just sitting on my pc at the moment.

Settling on the right method (especially avoiding damage from a survived attempt) and time. We saw our financial advisor and now hanging around my neck is the knowledge that the longer I stay around the better off my daughter will be. I'd like her to be able to live as she'd like at an age where she can actually enjoy it instead of the "golden years". I'm tired and want to go but I feel like I have to keep going and I'm afraid I'll eventually start to hate her for it.
