Lying in bed watching YouTube videos. Don't want to see anyone or do anything. I want nothing to do with all the hypocrites with their artificial smiles celebrating Jesus by getting plastered and ignoring those who are hurting.

Not doing anything Christmas. No family, friends or decorations. Today is my dog's birthday, so giving her lots of treats, toys and attention gives me something fun to focus on. (I know, weird and pathetic).

That's not weird and pathetic at all. I judge people by how they treat animals, and you are a kind a caring person, your dog must totally love you. Thank you for being so kind and loving to your dog

Had a little celebration last night with my family, seeing my grandma and uncle for the first time in a while, a short dinner, gifts. Then I got on call with a friend all night, we'd been planning on spending Christmas together all month so it was really nice. Compared to spending it relatively alone with only my family for every year I can remember it was a really nice change of pace <:

I wasn't planning on doing anything really. I'm staying home so I can avoid meeting with my abusive family. That's about it. I wish I could celebrate it with someone in person, just not my family.

I'm fortunate to be spending a lovely Christmas with my mother and my little brother who is here from the west coast. It's not often we get to see him so we are really pulling out all the stops to make Christmas extra special. You never know when it will be our last one for many reasons so it feels good to have what might possibly be one last hurrah.

Just had an argument with my ex wife (we still live together). I had came to the kitchen to cook some hamburgers for lunch. She started throwing things that happened 5,10, 15 years ago in my face while telling me why she and our two adult children hate me (she has brainwashed them a lot, but I've also made mistakes) and threatened to call the police as she picked up her phone..She was saying how I did this, did that, failed at this or that. My son, who is 20, then came storming out of his room, screamed in my face while telling me to hang myself x3 and to go find a tree and make everyone happy. He then grabbd the pan I was cooking the burgers in and tried to throw them in the bin, but I stopped him. Merry Christmas, everyone! LOL!

I'm not religious and I much prefer to think of today as George Michael Remembrance Day. I loved him so much and am still so sad he's gone. My hope is that he found peace.

I am planning on passing several levels on candy crush and making cookies but wake up way too late in the pm due to insomnia. Not sure if I will make more progress on my games.

Not looking forward to family dinner/gathering coming up shortly, but I want to try to give them my presence for as long as I can tolerate. I don't wanna be here anymore but just trying to give them memories.

I'm spending it with my family and eating constantly, there's so much food and sweets (I have a lot of younger siblings). Right now I'm drinking wine and stressing out over my job, even though I still have tomorrow off. I might play something to distract myself, maybe Disco Elysium or Ace Attorney.

My husband has gone to his parents house, and I have a kidney stone so I'm at our house baking cinnamon rolls and watching movies with my dog. Despite the pain, it's been a pretty chill Christmas.

This sounds very similar to how mine went. Also had a kidney stone situation, home alone with my dog. Movies. Lego set.

I ate too much today and now am mad at myself for emotional eating. I did my duty and called my kids to wish them a Happy Christmas; and I replied to my brother's and my mom's holiday well wishes texts. I binge-watched a TV series to distract myself. I sometimes think to myself "how did my life get here?" And I ask myself "why do I continue on?" "Do I really believe that things will get better?" I know why and what I am holding out for. But why, and how long until I get there?
