Discussion What are some ways you guys plan to kill yourself?

I plan to hang myself on a tree this summer or I'm even thinking about stabbing myself in the chest ( If I can go through it).

Sn (which is on it's way finally) and two backups I'd rather not use partial/full hanging and train (tracks right by my house and trains regularly haul ass through town).

I would not recommend trying to stab yourself, it is very unlikely to work and will be agonising. Hanging is also risky and painful and you should make sure that you don't do it incorrectly. I wish I had a ctb method, sadly I don't and am trapped here. For the time being, I guess my current method is hoping I am struck by lightning.

In my case, unfortunately I don't have a plan to exit this world at this moment, I wish that suicide was easier for us and there was the guaranteed option to peacefully pass away but of course such a thing would be too good to be true in this world. I hate that suicide involves so many risks and complications, if it was more straightforward to exit this world I would be long gone.

I've done some research on SN and partial hanging but I'll probably just end up going with the classic 9mm bullet to the head

i don't have a specific plan yet, but when i do, i'm thinking partial hanging, or a bag over my head + sleeping pills (not enough for my body to throw it up but enough that my body doesn't wake me up when i have no oxygen). also jumping from a very tall bridge or building is definitely a method i think about

me too, i have options and methods of ctb i pray i'll have the courage to go through with, but have been unable to come up with a specific plan and date, because it's so complicated and risky and i'm terrified of both the physical and emotional consequences if it fails

My "dream " suicide would be to jump off an extremely high building or cliff, but I know that this method is not really safe as the survival chance (and being extremely disabled after it) is sadly pretty high. My other method of choice would be to take either SN or another painless substance (although SN is very hard to get safely and pure where i live). Those methods preferred with someone else so I have somebody on my side while going.
I hate that ctb is so difficult to do safely. :/ I just want to ctb peacefully and without having to suffer.

Right now, hanging or SN. Hanging seems pretty easy, but I don't want to traumatize anyone living with me, so I plan to do it when I'm able to move out or something. SN seems like a nice way to die, but don't know how to get the resources for it yet, still looking into it. At this point, I don't really know if I care about not traumatizing people, but it's not that bad to the point where I HAVE to die right now.

Stabbing myself would be the obvious choice for me. I know it's one that hurts and takes its time but I wanna know what would be to go through my mind when I'm bleeding out. I do just sometimes stand in my kitchen holding a knife wanting so badly to do it.

The New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia. With a span height of over 900 feet, it is foolproof. There are even railroad tracks on both ends that one can aim for, but even a water landing is going to be fatal--guaranteed.
