recently i had a dream where I did dishes, but it wasn't like a fast forward it was 20 minutes just straight up doing dishes in my dream and I couldn't wake up to free myself
Had a dream last night where my friend was claiming I owed him thirty dollars (he wouldn't say what for) and when I didn't pay up, he came to my house just banging on all the windows. I then went to an ATM to get the money, but it only came out in coins.
Then I was in the car with my brother and grandma, and we got into this horrific accident, and my friend was still demanding money
In one dream I got baselessly accused of abusing a pet cat. They said I was abusing this cat because he always meowed "suspiciously" when leaving my room.
I got convicted of animal abuse in court and then they sent me to a "recovery camp" where I was forced to participate in group activities like boating and making crafts. It was the exact same as the kind of summer camps elementary schoolers are sent to. The only real difference was that so-called campers were expected to be miserable and guilty at all times.
Everyone I knew disowned me. Whenever I claimed innocence or tried to be around animals I got punished by the camp staff.
I tried to escape the camp via boat and was punished for that too.
Gonna share the very 1st dream that I got as a toddler (from what I remember). Just gonna copy n paste this from a past diary^^
I was in front of my grandfather's table. He does his tailoring work here. I noticed something, there's an old man's face carved on the table. He's alive, he can speak, he said something, what did he say? I don't know, I forgot. Whatever it is, it did something.
I looked out the window, there was a big spider crawling on the walls of our house. I went outside. Suddenly, my neighbor told me to come inside. I went in their house. Suddenly, cartoon looking zombies appeared. They were walking in a straight line, like an army. They disappeared, and I could go out again.
All of sudden, a fairy wearing a pink dress appeared. She was flying above, I had to look up. She told me,
"You can become a fairy too."
"Can I wear a pink dress too?"
"No you can't, I'm already a pink fairy. There can't be two. I will give you an orange dress instead."
She gave me an orange dress. Toddler me hated the orange fruit (actually I still don't like oranges or any citrus fruit) and so I didn't like having this color too. I felt disappointed.

Had a dream last night that was in multiple parts.
Part 1, I was in the car with RFK Sr and some girl, just chatting, then she got out and ran into this building, and I followed her.
Part 2, I was then transported to this weird 1950s era where I was a guy, and I was trying to get a girlfriend because everyone thought I was gay and I was worried about being punished or something.
Part 3, I was a woman in modern times again, and I was in this big underground store run by this Muslim lady and apparently I was planning on reverting, and idk. I remember going across this bridge out of the building and it was all rainy outside.
Not personally, no. But rest assured that your taboo dreams probably don't mean much.
Dream interpretation isn't a scientifically backed field. Therapists and psychiatrists used to do (Freudian) dream analysis. They don't anymore, though, because the evidence just doesn't support that practice.
I think the modern day consensus is that dreams are just thoughts, emotions and everyday situations all blended up together by sleep.
Even people who believe that dreams offer deep insight into our subconscious minds tend to view it non-literally. In your case, they'd probably say that sex represents a desire to care for and be close to someone, or maybe it represents a fear of violating boundaries.

I have what I call "lizard stress dreams." I own a lot of lizards, all of which are very solitary and need their own wide variety of enclosures, accommodations, etc. and there is a few species of gecko that asexually reproduces, essentially creating clones of themselves. Most female geckos also have this ability though it is VERY rare, but some people will find surprise babies just chilling in their lizards enclosure out of nowhere.
so whenever I'm stressed (and not having the usual ptsd induced flash back dreams), I have very wild and vivid dreams of all my lizards multiplying and scrambling to provide them all adequate housing or at least separate them so they don't eat eachother. All while more keep appearing, and they're fighting eachother and dropping their tails left and right or refusing to eat or escaping. Stress in the most lizard centric way.

i had a dream once about a coors light festival happening at my local grocery store. there were big signs everywhere promoting coors light and huge bins filled with cans you could take for free. i just remember running around drinking a bunch of the cans and eventually i ran into lip gallagher from shameless, who i had to hide in the bathroom because for some reason the security in the store was looking for him.
also had another one where i was stuck in a huge enclosed ball pit and every so often the lights would turn off and something would come for me in the dark.
my weirdest dream though imo is this one where i was just laying in bed looking around. i used to have a loft bed, so unless you looked over the side you couldn't see anything below the bed from up top. all i could see was my feet and my wall. it was dead silent, and suddenly i heard a creaking sound, the sound of something climbing up the ladder. the worst part about it was i couldn't look over the side, all i could do was look forward and see this red text on my wall typing out "someone's coming." really slowly, as the creaking got closer to the top. i woke up right after that.
dreams are always a fun topic for me so i'm loving this thread lol

I had this really claustrophobic dream where I was basically stuck in a tight space with water rising to my head. Terrible (ರ ~ ರ)
And one where I was stuck in a loop of climbing a stair and jumping down repeatedly. Each time I feel in the ground it hurt, but for some reason I got up and continued.

one of my favorite dreams that i remember was where i encountered someone who seemed pretty high and i was kind of worriedly checking on them and they told me they were on crest 3d whitening strips
It was my first night at my old apartment and I woke up feeling tightly squeezed. I couldn't move my body at all, just my head and when I looked down there was a black arm-like thing hugging me. Looked to the side where the arm lead and a black figure was there, lying beside me. It had no face and I couldn't make out a solid body shape. Just a black, abstract creature??? I wanted to scream but I couldn't even open my mouth. I soon realized I must be dreaming and needed to wake up. Tried praying but didn't work. Remembered reading somewhere that I should wiggle my toes. I tried so hard to make them move but no luck. Eventually I got so mad and impatient I mustered enough power to do a kick LOL then I woke up for real! I could still feel how tight "hug" was even after minutes passed. Looked around and everything looked exactly the same in that dream.
I dismissed it and just thought the physical and mental stress were taking their toll. My body was so weak. I was working a straight shift and just my luck, I had food poisoning. Got brought to the ER and they sent me home to rest. It was already late. My parents' home, where I was still staying at the time, was two hours away so my coworker (also my housemate) thought it was best to bring me to our apartment, which was nearby. I wasn't supposed to move in until a few days later.
The creepy thing came months later. I had two new housemates and we were just randomly chatting when one shared that on his first night, he falsely woke up in his dream. Then the other said she also falsely woke up in the her dream THREE TIMES before she actually did in real life ALSO ON HER FIRST NIGHT. TAKE NOTE: I HAD NEVER TOLD THEM ABOUT MY FIRST NIGHT. Only then did they know.
Crazy!!! And we were all in the same apartment talking about it HAHAHAHA NO WONDER THE RENT WAS CHEAP
What's even crazier is we stayed for a couple months more. They left first and I was all alone by the end.
All good though. Loved that apartment, welcoming committee and all. lol
YES! Known as mourning geckos :) they're a gorgeous all female species (mostly, but that gets into nitty gritty details lol.)
and I remembered the word! it's parthenogenesis, the process where the fertilize their own eggs. interestingly these geckos also have been seen imitating mating with one another to spark the process of partheno, so literally lesbian geckos!
unfortunately I will never own one because of the aforementioned lizard stress dreams lol
I have a dream with multiple dreams in it...
I woke up and saw my phone screen broken, got scared, tried to understand how the fuck it happened, woke up. Understood that was a dream, grabbed my phone from my bed, it was still broken. Tried to wake up but failed. After awhile woke up. Checked phone - broken. Tried to stand up but failed. Tried to see the surrounding but i could barely open my eyes. Tried to force my eyes open. Woke up. Still couldnt move so realized thats a dream. Tried to open my eyes irl, couldnt open my eyes nor in a dream, nor in irl. I think i was "waking up" this way few more times until i finally actually woke up, checked my phone and it was okay.
Idk wtf was that. Ig its all because my friend called welfare check on me at 4am cause i slept at his house after an exam, got a bit out of my mind cause his sister (my ex best friend) joked that if she would see me in a forest shed ki ll me (i was showing my friends what they cant do but i can due to hypermobility, like I moved my throat in "inhuman" way) as "im not human" (im the only one who can joke about me being not human.... It is weird when others do so), so he saw me right before I was leaving and thought that I was planning to ctb, then I went home and immediately fall back asleep so i wasnt answering. Police scared da fuck out of me, so i guess my mind decided to play this joke on me due to the stress
