How would one kill themself in a psych ward? I know it's been done many times, I've seen it happen in the place I'm in now though I don't know HOW they did it. I've tried to tie shoelaces and a sheet around my neck before but I was still fully concious even after 45 minutes just in a fuck load of pain.

I nearly succeeded. I had a back pack a bunch of clothes and some thin leggings. I jammed the rucksack in the top of the wardrobe, and tied the straps to my leggings, then tied the leggings in a loop around my neck and hung from that. I passed out briefly. I couldn't have done it without the back pack. Unfortunately it didn't work, I think natural responses kicked in and panic set in once I regained consciousness. My heart fought to keep me alive which is why I regained consciousness. I tried kicking out the windows to escape but they were too strong. I also tried breaking the glass by breaking off a cupboard door and smashing it with that but the glass just wouldn't shatter. It's probably easier to wait til you get out and order SN. Once I tried shoelaces but they just snapped

I was in there the one time I succeeded with partial. A complete fluke. The problem is there's a high likelihood that you'll be rescued. I woke up in a pool of my own urine with a nurse sitting on me, trying to invade my chest cavity forcibly.
Of course every time I go there now, they confiscate absolutely everything. When I want to go to sleep, I have to give them my clothes and they give me PJs.
That's what happens once they are on to you

I personally think that it would be too risky attempting to ctb in a psych ward, as wouldn't it be likely that someone could end up being found too early if they attempt with hanging for example and such a thing could lead to damage. But if people have managed to succeed in that environment then I don't know how they did it, maybe they just got lucky that they weren't found too early, but anyway I admire their bravery. I think that if I was in a psych ward I would focus on trying to get out of it rather than trying to attempt ctb.

Once I tried with 40g of quetiapine while in a psych ward. Ig that I would have succeeded if I was free but instead i just got 5 days of coma.

trying to ctb while in psych ward is very unlikely to succeed. It would only make things worse by making you stay longer in captivity.

I would just wait until you're discharged to try. Too risky while you're there and they'll never let you leave when you're caught.
