Theoretically you could dump-in a live toaster and die from electrocution. However, most modern electrical systems for homes/living-quarters have saftey.sys to prevent such accidents, so you'd need to disable those by modifying the outlet a bit or even the breaker.

Maybe put a car-battery in the water? IDK, seems like shit from cartoons, but the amount of energy might be enough to do that. Or connect the ends to ends of the water in bathtub /w jumper cables with the battery outside? Honestly, electrocuting yourself to death or ingesting sleeping pills seem more reasonable then finding some kind of chemical reaction /w soapy water that'd kill.

Yeah, abt sleeping pills. You either need to take a lot for a chance to kill, but only perscription-strength tranquilizer/depressive medications could reasonably be fatal.
