Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has tried water fasting?

Looking for information on the following -
How many days did you go?
What were your expected results?
What were the actual results?
How did you feel before and after about it?
How difficult was it to not eat?

Any other random details would be appreciated also.

Why did you decide to water fast?
What benefits did you notice?

I'm about to do this is why I'm asking and kinda want to know what to expect.

no benefits at all from not drinking water,i was simply too high and busy to think about it, no particular meaning was involved.
Many times i drink a lot of water/coffee too/ and eat absolutely no food for 2-3 days. This has benefits for me:
-clean body from some toxins
-burn fat fast as possible and little muscle /brain can't survive only on ketones, so you will eventually burn you own muscles to get sugar for it, so you need to plan you physical activity/
-i need less sleep in order to feel fine - MY MAIN REASON
-all the time i need to be in the action and do something, can't be lazy or lay on bed. it's like a drug that make you constantly think how not be lazy.

-day 1 - good mood, no hunger if i do something interesting all the time
-day 2 - 2-3 hours of less sleep are feeling like it was 12 more, waking up perfectly before alarm clock, good mood, my head starts to feel dizzy on quick moves, hunger gets to a peak and then stops at all during the day.
-day 3 - again almost no sleep but it feels like i woke up from a vacation, feeling more dizzy hour after waking up on any move i make.

Negatives and compromises:
  • i take too much coffee and smoke more /if you don't smoke dizziness will be lower/, so it's generally not good for health if you smoke
  • if you take amphetamine you won't feel dizzy but is still very bad and really dangerous without food
  • lose muscle mass - if you don't walk/run 5-6 km a day won't be that much of a problem.
  • little alcohol feels really heavy and is very dense on calories - so sorry, no drinking on parties.

At the end simply eating smart and healthy/if there is really such a thing/ every single day, but keeping some calories deficit - has all the benefits, without any negatives, combined with correct physical stress.
