Wanting to ctb vs medication

My plan for ctb has been in for a while. I've attempted numerous times. Been in hosp for it over and over. And yet I still live.

I am currently on quetiapine and sertraline - however today I am also starting Lamotrigine.

Will these medications make me not want to ctb? I've got 2 orders of SN on the way. Which I want to do. I don't want to be here anymore.

I'm curious if I take these pills if my mindset will change? My cpn has hope that it will. I'm unsure.

Anyone else take the same cocktail?

i hope they work for you. but please don't expect them to be a miracle cure. it might take some time for them to kick in or to figure out the right dose. if they don't seem to do much initially don't take that to mean it's impossible to recover. give it some time and keep communicating with your care team.

They know I have ae I've had police twice. They seem ok with it

I've been taking bupropion for 2 years but i remember it took a few months to start working. It made me a lot calmer and less prone to mood swings. Emotions in general became less strong which made me think about cbt a lot less too.

Just recently started taking fluoxitine too but so far all that's done is made me more impulsive.

Whatever you choose, I hope it'll go well.

I personally haven't read about that working well.

Anything to stop you from throwing up?

i think it's better to reach out to your care team than to keep posting here every day about doing an otc meds od which anyone will tell you won't work. you'll just get the same answers here and it won't help you. please reach out to someone in real life.

These are just going to do a number on your liver and nothing else. I know it sucks but be patient and wait for your SN.

First of all, do you or your psychiatrist know why you are suicidal? It's difficult to treat sth if the source of it is unknown. It's all trial and error. If there are external circumstances that caused (or still are causing your suicidality) then, unless your circumstances change, meds won't help either.
