Discussion Video game that brings the most nostalgia?

Doesn't have to be a good game. Just one that makes you feel happy thinking about.

That one game for me is Super Mario Galaxy. I know it's hard to be nostalgic for a Wii game, but to me that game brings so many memories. It showed me that video games can mean a lot more than just beating things up. The soundtrack is so beautiful and powerful and Rosalina's storybook made me cry like crazy when I was little. It brings me happy memories.

Animal Crossing for the GameCube. It was my first video game. It has such a special place in my heart. Thinking about it brings back so many good memories.

The first Spyro game is a big one for me. I grew up with Nintendo systems as a child and never owned a PS1. But two of my childhood friends did, and I particularly remember playing Spyro with them a whole lot when I'd visit their homes.
Banjo-Kazooie, the first Animal Crossing, and Zelda: Windwaker also invoke very good memories from specific periods of my life. Oh and of course the original Pokemon games too, I still have my blue version.

From my early childhood Super Mario Bros. 3, which just felt magical back in the day. We didn't own the game so we would rent it for few days at a time and playing it was something really special. It's still a good game but now that I can have it on my phone and play it anywhere it feels less special.

GTA Vice City, although a very different kind of game also holds a lot of nostalgia for me. I remember driving around the city, listening to all of the great music on the radio stations and just being mesmerized by how immersive the experience felt. Playing it now it feels kind of janky after getting used to the graphics and gameplay of the later GTA games. It just isn't as good as I remember it.

Out of the more recent games, I would say I have some nostalgia for Arkham City. It's the last game I remember really getting sucked into. I still play games from time to time but I just don't enjoy them that much anymore. Well I don't really enjoy anything that much anymore. Playing it now is kind of bittersweet since getting into that game is one of my last good memories before everything really started going downhill.

They just re released this one recently too. I was kinda stoked.

I've had nearly every gaming console and enough games to be a game store. But I'd say Diablo 2 LoD has brought me some of my fondest memories.

For me it's Baldurs Gate II, it's happen to be my favorite also. I played it until my back hurt.
I don't play games anymore but I keep thinking about this game from time to time, about it's reach story, magical world and charismatic characters.
I wish I could explore this realm and experience it with other adventurers in reality

Other guys (of course, the game was made 20 years ago) are working on Baldurs Gate III but I am already can see that it won't have the same magic in it. Illithid invasion? How original! Already bored.

I play mmos online. I swear I got better interaction from BG2 npcs than most random groups in an mmo! Ah Minsk and Boo, together again...
