  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

So, I'm just venting a little here. I have a thirteen year-old dog who is my everything. He's, as of right now, the only real reason I don't ctb today. My plan is to wait for his time to cross the rainbow bridge, then leave with him. People keep telling me I need to get a puppy before my boy leaves me, and if it weren't for the fact that I plan to leave when he leaves, I would get a puppy. At the same time, if something changes and I decide not to ctb, I will be devastated when my dog's time comes. I can't tell anyone my real reason for not getting another dog right now, so I'm telling all of you here. Thanks for reading…

Perhaps you could adopt a senior dog at a shelter...your dog would probably like the company. I don't really think many 13 year old dogs would care/enjoy living with a puppy. I have 2 old dogs who are 16/17 I helped a lost dog recently and the dog was so young and it was apparent she was too much for them.

Take care.

I understand how you feel. Pets are one of the only good things about life in my opinion. I will be really sad when my cat dies. I wish you well.
