I have taken valium 20 mg ( my first time).
Initially I took 10 mg . I was not feeling anything even after 40 minutes except a mild buzz. So I took another 10 mg. After 15 or 20 minutes , I felt sleepy and I slightly felt trouble to balance myself. I slept for 10 hours. I woke up 6 or 7 times in my sleep.
I have read that 20 mg is a high dose for a starter and it puts them to sleep for 2 days. Is it true? If it is.. why didn't it hold true to me?
This is a serious issue . I am using valium to sedate myself in my final attempt. I can't even imagine if I wake up like this at regular intervals and screaming with pain , waking up everyone and ending up rescued in my final attempt. Should I taking excess dose of valium? Or how to make this work?
I have to say that I am severely depressed from nearly 7 years though i am not officially diagnosed and not taking any medication. I had trauma from childhood too. if any of this makes me need to take more dose. (Sorry if this doesn't make sense, just guessing)
