Unfortunately I live in a shitty city where a lot of the time delivery drivers will steal your packages. This has happened to me before with amazon several times. This is my first time getting anything from USPS, and after reading and researching for days on Reddit, apparently this is normal?
I had my package delivered to UPS like I do with literally everything. I've never had a problem with them before. I went to UPS twice, both times a week apart looking for my package and they told me that they never received anything, that it was delivered through the post office. I go to the post office to check, and they can't find it either. They tell me to call the help desk, no one answers. I file a complaint online, they say that they delivered the package to the exact address on the package so they don't know what I'm talking about. I was going to go back to the post office that it arrived at before it was delivered to check and they said it arrive at a post office in my zip code. I literally don't even have one in my zip so I have no idea where they dropped it off at. I go back to the UPS, they still don't have it. It didn't get stuck in customs or anything because it says delivered on the tracking.
I don't know if they just left it outside for someone to steal or if they stole it themselves, but I'm beyond fucking irritated that the Universe is making this so fucking hard for me. Now I have to spend another 100$ that I don't have for a package that will probably get stolen again. I'm thinking of having it shipped to a UPS in an entirely different city where the public service workers aren't assholes so that maybe I won't risk losing it again but jesus man. I was supposed to be gone 14 days ago. Every day since then things keep happening and happening that make me want to die even more. Every single day I think about how I would have not had to deal with this if I had just gotten my package.
I'm going to order more once I file next weeks unemployment and hopefully it will come as promised this time. I hate that god insists on making me suffer so much that I can't even kill myself properly.
