Using the train to “CTB” but not really

I want to attempt to CTB and survive in order to be taken seriously at the hospital. Is it worth it to go fucking around at some train tracks pretending to get hit? I assume the police will be called and I'll be brought in. Am I being stupid? I should probably just CTB for real. Any suggestions?

You want to go to the ward? You can just...go, if you really want. If you tell someone you're suicidal they'll lock you up right quick.
You're new so I'd highly recommend reading others' accounts here. It's no five-star treatment.

I've spent years in and out of facilities. I know what the treatment is like. I just can't get myself to go in voluntarily so need a way to "CTB" that won't actually kill me

Just overdose on something enough to cause minor effects that would send you to the hospital but not enough to harm you lol I thought about doing it just to get some time in the ward

Why wouldn't it work? Are you not in America? An overdose here is a guaranteed admission to the grippy sock vacation. Legally, they have to send you to one.

I live alone. As soon as I would do that, I would have to call the ambulance myself, seems quite silly to me… My last OD just ended in some days full of pain..

Is there not a crisis center near you? Or can you not go to the emergency room and tell them you are suicidal with a plan? They will admit you immediately if you tell them something along the lines of "I have a gun and if I leave I am going to use it". It's pretty easy to get sectioned in America..

I have Seroquel.. enough to make me probably pass out, my heart might race a bit, might throw up a bit, but I know it won't kill me. Also have propranolol. Leaning towards the Seroquel route so I can get a nice sleep before I go to the psych ward.

don't do the train method. horrible pain and trauma for all parties involved. the easiest way you can go to the psych ward:

make a 911 call from another phone or restricted number, pretending to be a friend. Say something like "X told me they were gonna off themselves today and I'm worried. Can I call for a wellness check?"

when they come to do the wellness check, talk about your plans to off urself and they'll bring u to psych ward.

It's a HORRIBLE idea! My friend wrote a text to her brother in 2017 and she was serious. She wrote "I'm going to the train tracks to kill myself. May Jesus have mercy on my soul." And she went.

The police showed up and took her away and now since 2017 she has been forced to take MASSIVE injections of antipsychotics (court-ordered) and we are in Canada. Today, she is severely disabled due to the large doses and various antipsychotic injections and she is not the same person. When I go to hang out with her, sometimes she is a vegetable. She can't concentrate for more than five minutes.

I HIGHLY reccomend making it through this on your own and trying everything in your power to survive life without notifying police or anybody that you are going to kill yourself. Please do not do what you are considering. I know from her experience that it doesn't end well.

Careful with propranolol and its effects on the heart
I cannot afford an ambulance unfortunately. Also can't 911 see who's calling even if it's no caller id

They are not trying to be mean. They do not know you, me included. They are just trying to give you (better) alternatives or show you what could happen.
I also think that you should try something different if you want to go to a ward. And you'll probably have to step out of your comfort zone by doing that.

Please offer me alternatives. Due to previous experience I am unable to get myself to go in voluntarily
