I wasn't referring to your situation, I was referring to the possibility that the train driver could suffer ptsd!!!
You were talking about throwing yourself under a train and the possibility of the train driver suffering trauma is a potential result...

If i have misunderstood i'm sorry my grammar isn't great, thats what you get for skipping english and not self educating... So if i'm now reading this correct
"That's nothing as far as I'm concerned, "
You mean the extent of the ptsd the driver will suffer?

Yep that's what I meant. No worries about the misunderstanding, maybe I should've worded it differently
Peace/hugs

Again, apologies. My reading means i end up thinking one of the few not just labelling me inconsiderate and selfish is saying something the opposite, best wishes,

Thanks for the feedback folks. Those claiming it's selfish on the community. I might have become overly cynical than i care to believe, but i really don't believe anyone other than the driver will be effected, i hope the driver knows how to play the system or someone who does to advise him and milks every penny he can in damages. And for most the passengers it will be a usual story of "some selfish sod jumped in front the train, hope they suffered something terrible". And hopefully for the rest of people like me i will be one more statistic to society that euthanasia for all is common sense if youve proven you wish not to exist even if youre not 'ill' though i am physically and mentally ill i'm not considered ill enough that even if i had the means to go to switzerland i couldn't. Like i say my last wish is for walk in centres where you can be supported or simply a place to go and blow your head off. If were really an evolved species, we shouldn't have to worry about ending up paralyzed and kept alive on life support.
Best regards all.
I'm sorry but this is untrue, my sister witnessed someone doing this and she had to have intense therapy for a year and still remembers it years later. It doesn't just effect the train driver

I just want to say whoever cbts by train has major balls!!! It actually happens weekly in the UK but obviously not always released in the news or to the public. So it's "popular" but it's scary as shit to me!!! I've heard people listen to music whilst they wait for a train to drown out the noise. I hope you reconsider because this does effect many people in different ways but I know better than anyone that when you want to die it's hard to think about anyone else's feelings or how your suicide will impact people.

One method over another doesn't take balls or guts when it's your personal best option my friend.
I would guess the whole start of a fair amount of us ceasing tb is because of others not caring about our feelings. So i don't understand why so many people are suddenly an armchair samaritan.

It's your choice and there will be people who will not agree with other methods, that's life! Do what's best for you. It's scary to me but you might think hanging or another method takes balls. Everyone is different of course.

just hope you get the answers you are after and your Ctb is as peaceful as it can be for you x

People don't seem to think 'well if nobody has ever showed that person love, how in the hell are they even going to understand others feelings'. I don't know what world your all living in but half of people are rude, self centered, evil. cadgers, sociopaths. The people with empathy won't care about being inconveinced for a few hours. I'm a frequent train traveller and i know ive been on the train when one person had tried to get on to the tracks. we had to get a bus replacement which IS THE SAME STORY EVERY WEEK ANYWAY in the UK at least have any of you actually used british rail? there's few services worse.

I've considered it, but would personally prefer jumping. What I noticed is that all the Southeastern trains have a guardrail on the front which could push you out the way. The Southern trains don't have this. There's a recent case here:

Basically, if I were to opt for this method, I would ensure my head was well past the lines of the second line, and let the train run over my body ensuring I was split in two (don't aim for the head to be crushed). But basically, I would only consider this as an absolute last resort, such as if I were homeless.

@toomuchtimetodie you're so right in everything you've said, 1000 x thumbs up for you and I'm truly sorry the herd is so groundlessly biased here.

@ reminds me of the girl who was loved by everyone on this board. She turned out to be a big scammer and ooow how she spoke about the train method with huge aversion and so much empathy for the train driver and the herd followed... guess what, she would only promote Nembutal to scam many around here.

I did not just love your post for saying i'm right, as a discussion board is so all opinions are welcome but your second quote actually made me cynically chuckle and i seldom laugh naturally these days... just the way you worded it i doubt you were even trying to be funny at all but just made me laugh, thank you.

@toomuchtimetodie, I've cringed for you in this thread. You set a clear boundary from the start, to please pass by if one disagreed, and what information you were actually seeking.

I've noticed on forums and in life, people are rarely capable of skipping what they are asked to skip, or not doing what they're asked to not do. Recently I realized somewhere else I had done exactly that same thing and had to have a think.

You've handled this thread really well. I've been impressed.

I think i went wrong there didn't i pal, as youre getting at... it's human nature, i'm guilty of it.
Thread hasn't been a waste though, a few responses have been useful and being new here it was good to affiliate with the board.
It was just the couple of vicious and petty comments that the mods mustve removed . I'm impressed how well this place seems to be run considering i heard of it negatively through independant news i think it was even Vice... which ironically somebody posted an article here on my topic.
Best

I aimed to jump in the past but everywhere over 300ft (UK) theres security like those 'suicide cliffs' down south, forgot the names but its very difficult to gain access to high points and id be concerned over as ive mentioned being in the 1% that lands on a car just right so that my brain survives but hello life support.
