I appreciate l risk one of the arbitrary and inconsistent 86.4% warnings or whatever for this post, but earlier today l was involved in an interaction in a thread with WayOut and three other obviously scamming / blagging accounts.

These accounts are @311 , here pitching about powdered N a day after admitting he "likes to help" facilitate N procurement via pm:

Then there's @quantumdynamics , who very helpfully began this scam propellant:

The very dubious posts made by these accounts have been deleted, which is a great shame imo, however the only person banned as a result of that interaction and its ensuing fallout was WayOut. I'm finding this a tad bewildering personally, given that the main offence caused by WayOut is one of tone and manners when addressing these issues, essentially an interaction style frowned upon by staff to such a degree that it is worthy of a ban. Posting scam-adjacent and profit-propellant with an obviously seedy intent will result in these posts being deleted and the reputation of dubious posters with malicious intent will be immediately laundered; whereas questioning this forum policy in an assertive way will result in a ban.

Some people here might not remember the Patrick scam. It appeared here and was rumbled here; Exit were completely taken in by it, a member of SS forum staff was in the Patrick thread and was also evidently taken in by it. WayOut was the first member to pull this scam apart; in this one post he did more for this community than any of those who still exist here, especially those who are politely schmoozing, working the room, sliding into pms with offers to help with N procurement. See for yourselves, it's here (you'll also notice that the Patrick propeller, @sanctionedsuicide , is NOT banned, probably because his posting style was bland paste and his manners were always impeccable, *hugs*):

It's absolutely absurd that WayOut is currently banned in the aftermath of assertively challenging the decision making of forum staff whilst these very malicious accounts remain. This is the latest in a series of highly questionable staff decisions made in relation to scam activity; when l asked if it was possible to put up a psa re the lovemykids/T scam l was instructed to do so only in the user megathread where it's less visible, yet when someone begins a thread trashing A's reputation as a vendor, bringing out the usual chancers and bullshitters, this thread is literally *pinned* as if it's an official announcement. Now we're seeing scammers thrive whilst the person publicly calling this crap out publicly is banned for objecting to this activity being glossed over.

Tl;dr - absolute fucking shitshow, frankly.

One lady asked me about bitcoin several times in PM and due to the fact there was no way to get bitcoin for her instantly I said I could use my virwox account. When I was virwox no longer accepted PayPal I said I could no longer do it. Wouldnt a scammer just take the money and run? Also when someone said they were house bound and dumb, and couldn't do anything to ctb I said I could help order them N. I've dontated money to users here before, @Floraknife. So I don't think I've this scammer title. As for the powdered N from a Chinese rc seller. She said she had it then her partner said they didnt. What can I do?
