• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

(I posted a similar thread but i want to add more information and also because i realized i posted it in the wrong section and want it to have more visibility from people who are not even members of this forum because i think its very important seeing how many people struggle with partial hanging on this forum)

My story:

Last time i attempted i had a horrible experience with partial hanging from somewhat low anchor, i passed out peacefully, after aborting and retrying the attempt a couple of times due to SI.
When i woke up i noticed that there was no pressure anymore applied and i actually couldnt breath while subconsciously screaming in pure horror as if i was fighting for my life, the screams turned out to be fake because it was midnight and i would have woken my family up. This was one of the scariest moments in my life.

Below are tips mainly for me and everyone else who is interested.

Insights:

1 .Dont just apply enough pressure to pass out, make sure that when you experience spasm, enough pressure is still applied. (very important or can lead to failed attempt which i think is what happened to me)

2. When about to pass out, close your eyes, so you dont have to experience your vision turning black which increased SI for me.

3. If done correctly you should feel dizzy in seconds.

thanks to @Forveleth i have more useful information! i will quote his message

"When I did partial I did two things that may help:
1. Used a slip knot tied such that it would tighten with my weight. The more "relaxed" my body became, the more I would pull on the rope and the tighter the knot became. It did loosen a bit but I had to completely stand up to get that effect.

2. I used an eye mask so I could keep my eyes open if I wanted to but did not have to watch my vision go all wonky."
