Use curing salt that is only 6.25% sodium nitrite?

Can I use this curing salt on Amazon in place of pure SN and just take more of it?

You would need to drink 400g of salt to get the 25g recommended dosage. That's nearly a pound. Don't know if you would die but it would be an extremely unpleasant experience.

So yes, it might be doable, but I don't think it's as reliable a method as SN by itself.

You will not be able to ingest 400g of salt. You will need to stop far short of that because of side effects.

Don't try, the probability of success is low.

You'd have to take a lot of that salt.
The standard dose for SN is 25 grams.
In this case you would have to take much more.
You would most likely vomit before you could drink the dose needed to die.

The unpleasant consequences would also likely be felt more acutely.

To my knowledge, it is currently impossible to buy a suitable SN for CTB on Amazon.

The minimum is 95% SN purity.
