I'd say something like:
"You are the part of the problem you speak of constantly and don't try to fix. I wish I could live like you, free-spirited with not a care in the world, excusing everything you ever done easily. Like you really believe it. But I can't, I don't know what's wrong but I see horrific things where you don't. Some of those things have been done by you to me, so I hardly expect you to recognize them. I do not envy you and I hope you continue as you have for your entire life, not caring for what others go through or even noticing."
