The more I've cut myself the more I'm getting used to it and I'm worried it'll become a way to cope with life. Now my right thigh is completely filled with scars and wiring but other it'll only get worse

Exactly how I feel, except I'm actually kind of hoping it becomes sort of an addiction for me. I only started around a month ago, and I'm not doing it as much as I'd like to be...
I can understand how you feel though, and I think there are better ways to cope other than SH...

Man i love it so much.
My both thighs are filled with cuts. I feel inspired just by looking at it. I feel like it hypnotises me.
i think that could be true were we not suicidal and on a suicide forum. It's probably not the best way to cope for someone that wants to return to society.
For me, it's the best way to cope
I do it for the aethetic mostly, and texture.
Partially also because I hate my body but that's the secondary reason.
I also find SH is one of those things that society is worked up over for no reason. If you know what u're doing it's a healthier coping method compared to smoking or drinking which has long term consequnces. Just have good hyigene, don't go too deep and it's not the worse way to cope.

I do it everyday for months
Straight after I come from work, right after I'm done feeding my cats. It's reduces my stress. When I'm having a flashback I really dig into my upper quads or knees

Unfortunately or fortunately the blade I have is small so it's easy to hide but the downside is that it's impossible to cut too deep. I do want to splurge on myself at some point and get an xacto knife since it won't look out of place in my room.

I burn myself with cigerattes after I'm done smoking them and I know exactly how you feel. It gives me a deep gutteral joySimilar threads
