This method is very unreliable from what I have heard. You may want to stop before you get permanent damage.

damn im going to smell like onions all day if i stop
So if tourniquette apparently doesnt work, is there anything else i can use this makeshift usb rope thing for? is it too shitty for partial hanging?

Personally, I wouldn't think usb cables would be strong enough to apply the necessary pressure before breaking.

I have since found a different method that i plan to use
There is like a vertical metal bar thing in my kitchen
I plan to partially hang from that
i tested it a little bit and i could feel myself getting dizzy
only one problem, the end of the makeshift "rope" im using keeps sliding up and down the metal bar
i imagine if i were to pass out it would very quickly fall to the floor and either completely lose all tension or put me at a weird enough angle that blood returns to my brain again
is there any way i can stop it from sliding?

To me peronally this method isn't appealing because it sounds to be too difficult to find the correct position. I would suggest you look into other methods, and probably full suspension is the best way to go if you when u intend a way of hanging.

its kinda funny that our entire lives we are afraid of death, but when we actually choose to seek it it turns out to be so difficult to actually achieve

I think it“s not the right equipment. I would buy a tourniquet (e.g. amazon, brandname TIME, US$12,-)

Here you can download a book with general information about the corotid method:

It“s in German, but you can use deepl.com

In this thead I posted more info about other methods:

This is just a general information. I do not encourage you to commit suicide and to use these methods. You act on your own responsibility.
