what items or trinkets do you guys own that are unique to you and make you who you are.

Mine are my sketchbooks/ little figurines that i collect anytime I visit our cities chinatown

i have a terrible memory so i like keeping little things to remember people by. i have a pressed flower from a friend who lived on the other side of the planet. bracelets from my former sister-in-law. an earring from my mom. a stuffed bunny from an old friend. a sweater from my first bf. stickers that i never used, from a friend i havent talked to in ten years. i still use the perfume that was once recommended to me by someone i barely knew. i hold on to every birthday card i've ever received and even some love letters from my exes. i don't really think of myself as a sentimental person but sometimes i really am one.

I threw such things away. I used to have test results that showed very high aptitude in various areas, to cheer myself up. A few favorite toys from when I was a kid. High school diploma. Poems I wrote. It felt good to throw them all away. Like gradually disappearing. If I could have my way, I would live in a box under a bridge.

My jounals ive qrote for years.. a few other bits my cap and service knife ...but a ring that was once a chain left to me by my mum.. it got broken on purpose by an old ex from years ago i had the gold made into a ring.. it is now hidden in a safe place that is to be given to my estranged daughter upon my passing my only true valuable item even though money wise it has no real value just that it was my mum jewrly ...
