Transporting SN on public transportation

i may buy and pick up 1KG of SN in person this weekend in the big city 4 hours away, but after that I'd need to travel back home 1 hour on the subway, 3 hours on a bus then 15 minutes in a taxi/uber.

I believe it comes in a non-resealable bag. I obviously don't want anyone to know I have it and I'll have a travelling partner and need to be discreet. They have a lunch planned with a friend in the city that day and thats when I plan to go pick it up then meet back up with them.

I will only have a small backpack, 1kg should fit fine inside right? Was thinking to bring big ziplocks and triple wrap the sn bag and hide it at the bottom of my backpack under clothes and hope the travelling partner doesnt look in my bag or notice a weird lump (wont be falling asleep on the bus thats for sure) Im not even sure how big a 1kg bag is.

If by some bad luck the sn bag rips open inside the ziplocks/backpack (subway get very crowded at times with alot of shoving to get off and on quickly) should i be concerned about an odor or possible hazard of getting on the clothes?

Maybe im being paranoid but hey, my mental health isnt the best, just want to be super safe and discreet. Them finding the sn would be extremely distressing for both of us. Maybe it's too much of a risk to do this while having a travelling partner but it's really difficult to get to the city by myself, especially as my mental health issues are well known by them by now.

You're overthinking this. SN isn't even illegal. Just transport it as you would any other chemical.

Make sure that the SN is packed airtight, because under the influence of oxygen nitrit turns into nitrat.

You are definitely overthinking this. SN Isn't a dangerous chemical. It is a salt that is used to cure meats. It should be safer your backpack. In the very small chance that the bag rips and the SN leaks out, nothing bad will happen. SN isn't absorbed through the skin. It is only harmful, if someone eats a lot of it all at once.

Have you looked in your pantry lately? Find a bag of sugar and see how big (small?) that is.
Around here sugar comes in 2 kg bags. So it's half that size.
Yes. A backpack is just fine.
And yes, you can wrap the whole thing in a plastic bag if you like, but don't start opening the package and dividing it in smaller batches.

Theoretically IF the container broke or a bag ripped it would just fall out like salt or sugar, but how often has your backpack been ripped that severely?

SN can potentially be absorbed through skin but not unless you literally dig into a ton of it. It's safe to transport, especially in such small quantities.

Just make sure you are actually buying the right kind (95% purity) and not the curing salt containing only 0.6% SN. That won't work and you can save yourself the anxiety.

I also worry about accidentally taking out everyone on the subway / train when I have salt in my backpack.

Or if cops search me and mistake the himalayan rock salt for MDMA?! They look so similar.
