I've been here a while, I've been dealing with mental health for a while too. I am despirate, I know I want to die as I've gone off and on for months now. I was tryin a peaceful, selfless method at first and it failed. I then tried to live a nice life with a home. All I want now is to lay my head on a train track, it's fast, but the anxiety is pretty darn high. I can't find any stats or methods on it however, despite it being common. Does anyone have any? (at this point I don't care about being selfless, I know it is a horrible thing to do, but I don't care.)

I've tried jumping in front of a train a couple times, but it's really hard to get the determination to do it. Every time my body gets completely frozen when I hear the train horn and I can't jump. It's infuriating!

I don't think it's right to induce PTSD on the driver and everyone who has to see that. That kind of trauma stays with a person forever.

I tried it before, went on a very remote bit of track and timed it so a train would be coming within a few minutes. I stood in the middle of the track and as soon as it came thundering towards me I locked eyes with the driver, the horn continuously sounding and then the sound of the emergency breaks screeching. I've never heard anything like that or felt that amount of fear. As soon as I locked eyes with the driver though I knew I couldn't do that to him and I just managed to dive out the way onto the gravel before it hit me. I think he thought he'd hit me though as the trains were stopped for nearly two hours. I ran and ran and got as far away as I could. It was utterly terrifying.

It sounds stupid but is there anyway I can avoid it while still using the method? I don't want to just step out intoa train and hurt someone else. Scotland does have a lot of trams too so I think this method is good other than that
