Hello friends,
Which is most likely to be a successful ctb?
- jumping 10 meters, onto a populated highway
- jumping in front of a train

I feel like jumping in front of the train might be more painless, but there's a higher chance of someone deciding to save me, as the train station usually have loads of people there.

Jumping from 10 meters might be more painful, but there's a smaller chance of being saved, as the bridge I'd be jumping from is very unpopulated, and there's a highway underneath it, so I'm hoping to also get run over, but I'm scared I'll just end up in a wheelchair.

Any thoughts?

it's unlikely someone will save you if you can play it off as if you're waiting to catch the train. i'd probably put on some headphones, turn on some music, look natural and then just make a break for it as soon as it got close enough. but the train method is one i would only do if i wasn't so scared of fucking it up.

personally, i'd aim for something a bit more higher. 10 meters seems like a 50/50 to me, but i guess if you go head first then maybe it'll tremendously up the chance? you'd have to look it up in one of the resource threads when it comes to the jumping method.

As the other user stated above, 10 meters aren't really high. I'd aim for at least 30.

I would advice against the highway jump for a different reason as mentioned before: If it is as busy as you say it has a big potential to cause an accident and other people to die.
Your death is your own choice but you shouldn't potentially take others out along with you.
E.g. you could fall on a vehicle and it would lose controll and crash or you could startle a driver and they might try to avoid you and crash into another car. Quite a few things can go wrong for the other people involved.
