Bullying really is not taken seriously enough. Which sends a message to the bully in their formative years of testing boundaries. That bullying is okay. It is entertaining, can make them popular in the eyes of some of their peers who laugh with them, inflicting fear and pain also can get you stuff. It is fascinating to me that if an adult tortures an adult or kid, that is rightfully and instantly considered abuse and is a shocking crime. But if children torture and beat other children that is fine it is just children being children... If that same kid sets fire to a cat though, holy shit are they in trouble! Maybe we should treat bullying in the same way we treat kids that set cats on fire... Instil hard boundaries of consequences drag parents into it with all the same seriousness. Do it early before the bully takes their learned, and in many cases endorsed behaviours, into adulthood. Because bullying someone to the point of break down is simply torture, I don't care if it just cutting off a girl's ponytails. Twenty years down the line of chronic incidents, if they are still suffering from a broken self-image and self-esteem that is hampering relationships, that is a fucking crime as far as I am concerned. It should be a damn priority to stamp out bullying in the same way we stamp out torture and setting cats on fire This world is just too aggravatingly stupid for me!

Those tories really are a joke, no! Not a joke because jokes are funny. Maybe they ought to look in the mirror to see biggest cause of misery in people's lives.

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/first-ever-cross-government-suicide-prevention-plan-published

Another example of the fukin tory jackboot destroying people.

https://metro.co.uk/2019/01/22/acti...s-suicide-rate-which-double-the-norm-8369741/

THE TORIES: we need a better understanding of what causes people to commit suicide. Us Tories have literally no idea why British people are killing themselves, and therefore have no option but to collate social media output to find out.

ALSO THE TORIES: draconian punitive measures for the poor are good, Keith Joseph was right all along, shove more of that social cleansing up my dick, mmmmhhhmmm

Now you see why having a Dignitas in every GP surgery is actually a bad idea.

I have been on the front lines of these changes since 2008. Watching them get sharpened like a late night shopping knife until they can cut through steel or in this case inflict death via a thousand cuts on my clients. It is a god damn fucking holocaust and that is not hyperbole. Anyone dare tells me it is, I am going to treat it like you just dug up my dead friend solely so you can piss on them. If you are going to point out I just hate Torys. I am going to tell you I would hate space hamsters from mars with the same venom if they were elected and had the exact same policies.

Indirectly killing an entire demographic of people through policy is beyond cruel. Tipping people into stress, starvation, and homelessness worsens every disability going. Sometimes fatally. http://calumslist.org/ I will likely end up on this list as I am already getting thrown under the bus just like my friend and everyone else. I wrote about my friend here. https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...-the-people-we-leave-behind.8792/#post-178906

I am documenting casual link on my journey into the abyss. Much of my seething rage and breakdown has come from witnessing this play out repeatedly. I am terrified of Brexit because of what it potentially means for human rights. Human rights law is what was often used to soften the sharper teeth of these policies. Some changes found to be in complete violation forcing changes. https://rightsinfo.org/what-is-the-...ights-act-theresa-may-british-bill-of-rights/

I hate this life, I hate this world, I hate everything! (Although individualistically people can be all right. Video games also get a pass along with Mead.)

I tried getting this across to some people, as well as the impact on employment rights.
Dark days are ahead for Britbin, and we in the north are being forcibly dragged along by the throat to the inevitable armageddon.

We are not far behind you in the US, insurance companies continually make coverage for mental health issues more difficult. Diasabity, physically or mentally, occurs through the Social Security Adminstration. In the US, the homeless population is exploding, and they say 60% of these people have mental illness. And they are forgotten by all, not only Republicans but also by the Democrats. If not for many non-profit charities, shelters, and treatment centers, the options would be near non-existent. The worst areas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Chicago are also the areas that say they are the doing most to help or the most advocating. Not really. These people are being used as political pawns.

Sensible Electorally Pragmatic Liberal Centrism for you.

This is why l can't get on board with some of the Ode To Joy, Stop Brexit At All Costs bellowing of the arch-remainers of similar political hue. Brexit is not something l welcome and not something l personally voted for, but these same Sensible Centrists who decry it might be advised to understand the role they've played in causing it, the impact of ten years of austerity measures, of numerous attacks on society's poorest, of anti-immigrant rhetoric, of punching left whilst pandering right, their clutching at electoral straws at the expense of the people they now, given Brexit, pretend to defend.

I tried getting this across to some people, as well as the impact on employment rights.

I broadly agree with this point, however with regard to the ECHR there's little reason why the UK can't enshrine EU law into UK law. We have a Supreme Court already in place which is fully equipped to deal with such matters. Granted, such a move would annoy the Little Englanders with their cherished abstract concept of sovereignty and is therefore not going to come to pass, but if it were to do so our own government has implemented the LASPO bill of 2012 which essentially removes one's entitlement to legal aid. Employment tribunals, for example, now require a £500 fee before you even begin. Our access to justice is impeded by our own government, this is just one tiny example of how austerity measures impact upon us with an unseen severity, and the arch-remainers, who see a democratically opaque trading bloc as the peak of progressive politics, were silently supportive of all these measures. These people have contributed just as much to the current political situation in the UK as any Tory Eurosceptic and should never be allowed to rehabilitate themselves.

I am way too miserable today to rant about cuts to legal aid in any detailed manner. But pretty much yeah Chinaski. It is also bad in several other areas that have not garnered as much publicity. Too weary. Wish I could just sleep but nope...

I've said before that I voted Labour until Tory Blair hijacked the Labour Party. Voted SNP in the last election, only discovered this guy a few days ago owing to my disdain for the mainstream media. He seems to be from the same mould that previous socialist guardians have come from.

Hah, when Lammy originally emerged to replace Bernie Grant in Tottenham, he was heralded as "the black Blair", which is dubious for many reasons. Not someone I'd ever describe as a socialist, not even with a small 's', but not someone I'd boot out of the party in a hurry either; he's certainly on point on particular issues, Grenfell being one of them.

I knew several guys that went to seminars on Brexit. Ready for this, how the US and Canada would economically fill the void of EU with investment, imports, and energy. They told me North American business has been sending delegations very frequently to show support and policies to help the UK. I'd worry fellas, the US national debt is huge, but the money held in reserve is larger.
