To ctb or not to ctb?

Hello,
How do you decide if to ctb or not?
I desperately don't want to die and leave my family, but I don't want to slog on with my daily chronic pain.
What can I do???
I am already getting the best medical care available and it is not helping. Now I am facing multiple surgeries and don't want to be walking on crutches (I have tarsal tunnel syndrome and neuromas in both feet).

If the pain is too much and it interferes with many, if not almost all your activities, I don't think you deserve to go through more years of that chronic suffering. I am also dealing with an illness that medical intervention cannot easily correct, everyday I ask this question. If it is reasonably possible that you get better with a satisfactory quality of life, I say go for it.

Can I ask you what illness you have or is that too private?

Easy! To die.

Simplified: is there solution? No: then why being in an awful condition for years? Nobody depends of me so I'm in peace with myself. I don't owe years of pain to anybody. When I will die, it will be freedom!

good for your thoughts on this, wish I could think like you do...my family is so lovely and I can't leave them but cannot continue living like this.
Must have done something wrong in my past life.

I understand... I have it a lot eaaier because I was abused as child and I don't feel anything positive to my family, who is exactly my reason why I'm here.

You did nothing wrong. God is not punishing you, life is just cruel with a lot of people, we incluided...

There is no one specific name for it, sorry I am not comfortable sharing my exact symptoms, but it really is debilitating though there is not much pain.

Me too in total torture that cannot get relief from. I just do not want to die but there seems no way to correct

You did nothing wrong. God is not punishing you, life is just cruel with a lot of people, we incluided...

yeah, if I had been abused etc probably would be dead.

Go as long as you can and when you have run out of energy/strebgth/will to live etc you get a loan and buy a bus ticket.
