This is probably a redundant point to make if you possess common sense and use critical thought. But don't just believe people that say controversial shit at face value, please think about it first before going on to preach it as the gospel truth. There is always someone more impressionable than you, this post is for anyone who knows that they trust what people say too easily.

I'll probably get some shit for saying this but I'm not trying to single out or offend anyone, just observing something that I've noticed. It's important to cut the bullshit when getting down to the nitty gritty of important details regarding ways to end your life. In saying this I know SS lends itself to being largely an emotional safe-haven for those that are suicidal/ considering suicide, than solely a source for relevant information but it is important to not always mix the two.

That could be said about the internet at a large. Anyone with half a brain knows not to trust random strangers on the internet.

What do you mean by 'fearmongering' and 'controversial shit'? If you see bullshit in specific threads by all means report it or call it out.

This post is so generic it reads like a general 'be careful'. If you actually need that warning I doubt you'll heed it.
