I really dislike it for some reason. The core issue for me is I think death is a solitary experience no matter who is next to you. It's going out on a delusion of a comforting connection when it's time to let go.
I actually ended up finding this forum because I was looking for someone to encourage me to do what I don't feel I have the courage to do completely alone. So I guess I've considered it, yeah. Not currently my intention though.
Only if I could, only if it is possible, I would definitely do it
Why is everything sooooo difficult, complicated in my life? Living a life is so unbearable, getting out of life is so hard to achieve
I recently had a friend that told me if I commit suicide that he will too and said that he will make a suicide pact with me. One of the reasons I haven't tryd yet because im sscared he will die too just because I did. Short story I'd hate to die alone but dragging others down with me would make me feel so sick.
in my opinion, suicide is such a personal thing, and i don't see the overall appeal in sharing that experience with someone. plus, i don't know if i could put that much trust in someone to not report me or back out last minute.
It's too risky to involve another person because it's even more illegal to assist someone than doing it yourself, so if one fails and the other succeeds - it can make things really complicated and messy
If I found a female friend who was 100% sure, with a method where neither of us would fail (e.g. jumping, fatal overdose) I would consider it. I've never had a real girlfriend, sister or a cousin— that's always felt like a huge absence in my life. It would be nice to share that kind of connection in the last few days, hanging out, drinking and doing girl things.
But it isn't very realistic, and I probably will end up going out alone. That's OK too.
I wouldn't want to do it with random people I met online, but if I knew someone in real life who might want to do this, then I would definitely give it some thought. It would be so much easier to CTB if I didn't have to be alone, but even then it's probably too risky.
I wouldn't want to die and have the other person live and get charged with murder. I'm just going to have to find a way to do it on my own I guess.
Still trying to imagine a device specially designed for joint suicide: two buttons, one for you, one for me. If you press your button, nothing happens. If I press mine, nothing. If we both press our buttons together, we both die instantly.
I'd love to form a suicide pact. I'm not a people person but I would appreciate others who had the same feelings as me. I'm scared to go, I fear the life after this. I fear this life may be a case of better the devil you know.
I don't think I'd ever partake in one due to the risks, (people not following through, it being someone coercing me to die to bring them pleasure, etc.) but TBH it does sound nice.
The idea of having someone die with you who feels the same way on the views of the world, humanity, etc. sounds very comforting. I've always wanted someone to relate to, and if that person wanted to die with me too, I'd happily go along with them. I don't think I'd ever want to do an online pact though, probably strictly offline since it seems safer for both parties.
