Discussion Thoughts on SN + food colouring

What are people's thoughts on adding food colouring to an SN drink, (eg a drop or two of red,yellow,green,blue, etc... purely for cosmetic reasons)?

Personally, I don't think it'll change the drink's effect's much, except for making it more unique. And yes, photos can be taken before and after the colouring is mixed.

PS: I'm not ordering SN anytime soon or wishing CTB strongly, just posting this out of curiousity.

Hm, that's actually quite an interesting thought. I could imagine someone who decides to record themselves taking their own life doing such a thing just for fun, though again it's not like I am thinking of doing such a thing either. I also don't think about suicide by SN drink simply because it's just not that interesting to me, but hey man, it's an idea and it's an interesting one.

Thanks, SN isn't for me either tho glad that the thought sparks interest. I was wondering if there'd be replies like "what if the colour affects the drink", or a specific colour preference, but I like to be surprised by the reply/replies.

You're very welcome. Who knows, my reply might actually cause someone to consider recording their own suicide and add food coloring since I randomly sprinkled in a lil' idea that I had in mind, but eh that we'll have to see way later in the future one day.

wait thats a fun idea lol, what about adding that edible glitter too they add to drinks sometimes so it looks like a magic potion, just makes it feel a little more fun maybe slightly less scary. dont know what color i would make mine, but i would add glitter because hell yeah, it shouldn't change how it works chemically at all

i would like to do the same honestly, feels more comforting in a way, i would rather make my last drink look pretty instead of it being just saltwater

from everything i researched it doesn't seem to interact at all, there were some studies of a specific yellow dye and SN and that had a reaction inside rats, but that's after its been processed by your body, and im sure not at SN doses that kill the rat. im no chemist but i don't see how adding dye, when they often dye SN when curing meats as well, will be any different than adding dye to a much larger amount for other uses, it seems like a pretty stable salt
