I keep considering using a scalpel as my razor blade can't cut well. It feels like my way-to-go method and jeah I am aware of better methods.
I only wonder about the scale of bleeding and how fatal such cuts might be, I would like to hear words from someone who did such cuts and had survived.

Which wire on my arm do I cut to defuse myself, blue or red?

and what would be the go-to place.

You see radial a and how it goes and merges into one the higher it goes uo your arm? And where people usually take your blood from is near the inner elbow? That is a good spot. But to be honest ur legs inner thigh work better

if you're attempting to CTB by cutting, you should know it has an extremely low success rate. Even if you do manage to cut down to an artery, it's likely going to clog. It shouldn't be attempted at all, your more likely just to end up with a deep cut infection, or a damaged artery.

I honestly never ever heard of anyone trying CTB there, but I know it is another place that some people prefer for self-harm.
There is a very important artery there. If you cut there deep enough with some sort of blood thinner or alcohol in your system you could die

But how low it actually is? I actively keep thinking a lot of CTB this way, I guess I am not really looking for easy ways, I was just once told of the story of one girl who decided to CTB by cutting her wrist, I don't know how deep it was or how many cuts she made or specific spots, I was told she was doing tons of SH and start losing pain perception, be it irrelevant she also had come to the kitchen to make some sandwich with jam afterward and then eventually CTB, leaving her friends to wonder if she had panicked in last moment and had decided to live, it wasn't the case there I sure, so I wonder if theoretically, she changed her mind, how easily could she survive if she took some actions to higher her chances.
When I was told of her situation it felt it was a pretty easy way to CTB.

I heard the radial artery in the antecubital fossa is the second best next to carotid arteries I guess. There's not nearly as much fat or muscle in the way like there is the leg so it's easier to get to. I've thought about it but I don't think I could do it. I've cut a bit lower than that on my forearm and only got down to the fat layer.

carotid arteries
I am not ready to cut myself on the neck, and I think I might have problems reaching the artery, I need to be in a specific mental state or perhaps under the influence of alcohol to even attempt such a thing, except for maybe a small cuts I won't dare to attempt it there.
radial artery in the antecubital fossa
Might give it a shot in the future.
