I just don't understand how it's the year 2020 and medically assisted suicide, without any symptoms is not widely available. It's absolutely fucking baffling to me. We are truly still living in the Stone Age.
Forced to live completely broken whether it is from our own doing or from others.
I literally can't wrap my fucking head around it. This world has been doomed since it's beginning

True. We are going backwards now. Censorship, violation of human rights and threat to all possible freedoms.
I don't know what should happen to make us head in the opposite direction but feudalism's smell is in the air.
Orwell, please, come back and tell them "1984" was not an instruction!

The worlds fucked in a lot of ways. One of the biggest is that if it's not about them very few people care about anything

Things have always been this way. I suppose it beats waking up and being the only person left? Which is advanced loneliness that I probably would go insanely mad if allowed.

I agree we're living in the Stone Age but religion is slowly dying where I live in Canada and Medical Assistance in Dying is almost a reality for anyone suffering any deliberating illness. That means any illness a person suffers pain from and whether it be a physical or mental illness could get Medical Assistance in Dying. I'm aware that in the Netherlands people don't even need an illness to get assistance in dying. So that seems like progress to me.
