Method This might sound slightly insane but is anyone considering constructing a guillotine?

At some point I think I heard about a case in the US where someone built one in their home. As far as a method goes, this one seems kind of reliable. I don't know anything about woodwork, construction or carpentry but if anybody in Europe is considering this, please let me know..
I tried methods involving asphyxia but I just can't get over my survival instinct. Plus I don't have access to strong drugs or firearms.

I've considered it, but I quickly realized that I'm way too stupid to even attempt building my own guillotine. I find it a very interesting idea to think about, but not something I'd ever actually try. Good luck if you do try it!

Yeah I'm in the same boat honestly. My ideal scenario is I guess meeting someone who's already planning something like this, someone who would let me use it after them. Regardless, thank you for the wishes though! I hope all of us who want peace will figure something out soon.

Sounds like a brave idea. Are you not worried that your SI will kick in after seeing someone decapitate themselves? I'd imagine that to be very traumatizing.

Right! I'm glad you mention this, when I was writing my previous comment I was considering expanding on that part!
I think since someone else put in the effort, and give me the possibility to be able to use it afterwards, I think the shock of seeing someone in that state could make me more disconnected from reality. If it means my exit would be fast and without pain, I'm okay with having to witness something like that.
