I'm sorry, but you were born on an earth of animals that cut each other open, where organs lay in an array and blood pools. You can act morally, but nature has no human morals. Rape, murder, the things you never could have thought humans would do nature already does it. And humans still do it, you should know why. It's too obvious. All of the supposed evil or immoral Is just a natural animal tendency. I'm sorry you had to be born in such a world. Where you end up begging to be let out. We live in a world trying to mask nature. We live in a world trying to mask nature because we are conscious of the fact that this world we live in, isn't pretty. It's a jungle of life fighting to survive and feel pleasure. Disgusting creatures. Trying to convince yourselves. Why do you do it. Because ego is tied with your being. You are your ego. You are nature speaking. You think anyone wants to hear why you think you are important? Do you really think you deserve what you think comes after death? Whenever you pray tell me who answers. Is it the ego, the people around you monitoring if you feel as important as them. This sick shit. There is not a single human being on this earth or ever was who deserves anything not even myself. There are only animals who get what they want and ones who don't. There is nothing you truly do that isn't for yourself. You are built this way. You can say "I do things for my kids". Well why do you think you do them. Because it feels good doesn't it. Because even a sacrifice feels good. All it is the endorphins and adrenaline and dopamine. Do you think nature wouldn't want you to feel good after that? But for those who realize this I'm sorry we had to be a slave to nature. I wish we could get out sooner.

I kinda agree with your conclusion but on somewhat different terms~ Humans are selfish and evil, succumbing to nature, hence, being undeserving of greater things without an intercessor~ Humans will just do whatever's most beneficial to themselves unfortunately, and this includes helping others for the sake of themselves and their good conscience~ :/ However, if humans purely respond to chemicals as you imply, it's hard to say that one could have "morality"~ in that case, you couldn't call humans evil at all as we would quite literally just be animals, and any conscience we have would just be to our disadvantage~
Plants can grow and reproduce, and animals can eat and move, but humans were clearly gifted with the power to ponder~
