(disclaimer: this is not some stupid lame attempt to preach, I hate being preached at myself, and I know that's not what we come to this forum for)
I went to church this morning (saturday) and this was part of the gospel reading. The words resonated with me a new way after having spent some time on this forum. The aspects of not fitting in with the rest of the world and being hated for it. Harmonies and resonances of thoughts, are interesting to me.
Jesus said to his disciples:
"If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first.
If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own;
but because you do not belong to the world,
and I have chosen you out of the world,
the world hates you.
