After 18 long days, my method has finally arrived. Tomorrow will likely be when my time to go. I have a few questions though, I have plans to send a two separate letters in the mail to my family and my local police station. If I put the letters in a public mail box how quickly will the letter reach them, as I plan on putting them in a public mailbox at around 4:00 am - 5:00 am in the morning and then ctb in a store parking lot in my car. I don't want to be found to early due to the slim chance that SN doesn't work and I have to take more after passing out for a while. I intend to take 30 g, I just want to make sure im not found too early. I would rather not have my family find me which is why I want to notify the police via letter. Does anyone have any better strategy? I live in US btw

It definitely depends on how far away the recipients are, and when the mailbox is checked (supposed to be daily). Just be aware that once you put the mail in the box, you can't get it back out. If you decide not to go through with it after all (which is totally fine) you'll have a lot of explaining to do.

Your right, I may just do it in the parking lot with my letters next to me. Sadly my family would then soon figure out I'm missing and soon enough they would probably find my body. But since its the weekend there is a chance that the mail won't be sent and received until Monday. I wish there was a way to send delayed messages.

there is! someone i'm sure can jump in with the names of websites etc but time delayed emails are completely a thing as are time delay texts.

Maybe send a test message with your letter to another e-mail address of yourself first? Just in case they have filters built in that block these messages as 'inappropriate'...
