The sanctity of life and excess deaths phenomena !.

Whilst i feel persecuted for wishing legal assistance in my death due to.ill health, there is increasing alarm in UK and other European countries regarding the surge of deaths above what would be expected. Astonishingly, there is a disproportionate surge of deaths among younger people. There's many theories why.its.happening; some outlandish, some very alarming. The trend is even more staggering in UK. In the Week to 13January 23, nearly 3000 excess deaths were recorded over seven days.

Even more striking is the apparent lack of credible investigations into this by the government. Only.recently are more urgent questions being raised.

And this situation flys in the face of preserving life whilst people like me suffer from chronic illhealth, other people.who wanted to live are dead.

I think it's kind of predictable in the UK though... There must be so many people who have gone undiagnosed and untreated due to covid the past few years. On top of that- the latest strikes. The NHS has been supposedly on the point of collapse for years- at least I remember people saying that for years anyhow. The spike in young people dying you mentioned seems strange though.

I just wonder how many more suicides there have been recently- and how many more there will be. Honestly, I can't wait to add myself to that statistic. I love the idea of England but truth be told- I think this country is just as corrupt as the rest of the world.

I envy all those people who have died, at least they are now incapable of suffering in any way. But yes, it's seriously unacceptable the lack of assisted dying options in the UK. Suicide is still so incredibly stigmatised here and it really shouldn't be.
