I haven't seen it and don't want to. It'll be incredibly painful and death won't come for hours or days. And the pain will never end until you reached your last breath. (There's a reason why historically this has been done to the worst offenders).
It's an unpleasant way to go, and there are a lot of variables that could result in your attempt not succeeding. The fact that you are asking all those questions suggests to me that you haven't thought this through throroughly. My advice would be to choose a different method. If you do decide to do it, then plan it so thoroughly that it can't fail. This is one method you don't want to survive.
If you do choose that method, do it in damp weather so you don't set the entire forest on fire.
The whole forest, that's an understatement! There are small woods all over the place, every 300-400 meters of the highway. You can't go too deep into the woods to get alone, people are everywhere. They told me what a terrible way it is.
They told me what a terrible way it is. I don't even know what to choose
Yes, on the now defunct website. People who have been filmed doing it to themselves and people having it done to them by their communities. It must be the lowest way to die I can think of other than a wood hopper
You wouldn't instantly burn up, you would literally start to melt
To send a message, not the lowest. Especially if your pain tolerance is already high enough and you can mitigate most of the horror by heavy painkillers in advance or lidocaine & DSMO transdermal ointment or profanol..
Does anybody really need to tell you fire is not the way to go? We all learn this very young. Just from the iron maybe. Its not quick, its not easy. Takes a long time. Longer then most would probably think. A lot longer.

If you do it correctly you can pass out in seconds, so you won't be conscious while you die.
Unless you throw yourself in lava, burning takes time, it's not quick, your body is literally made of water and oil so it will hurt, a shit ton.
Lava isn't instant either, I researched it as a possible means. It's like landing on rock at first, and then you sink slowly, so there will still be a decent chunk of time writhing in pain.
