I hate every moment of being awake. Being awake in the daytime is hell. Maybe cuz there is an expectation for me to get out of my funk enough to be productive. But at night, I can feel a little more at ease:
- posting here and reading all the threads from likeminded people
- listening to my sad playlist
- it's dark outside and late, so nothing needs to be done
- the lights are off. All I see is the glare from the PC.
- I pretend time doesn't exist and that my existence isn't awful
Overnight is the only time that doesn't hurt AS MUCH to be alive. Ironically, back before I had the internet and all I had was the radio, as a young teen, it was the worst time.
