The one thing that’s so hard to get over

I already have my CTB method all ready to go, it's just day by day , it's so heavy for me to know what this is going to put my mum through, I cannot tell her, it's going to have to be a surprise, she has been there for everything in my life and I know it's going to absolutely crush her, any tips on what I should do in this situation maybe sit down and talk with her to try and see if she will see my side of this?

Is there another family member you can talk it through with? Someone who will break the news to your mum gently, and look after her afterwards?

i mean, if you love her that much are you sure this is the correct choice? would a change of circumstance be enough to keep you around for a while longer? I mean this with respect, and yeah a surprise would be the way to go unless you've got a method that ensures instant death even by the time anybody else arrives.

Then if you are really desperate to CTB, you must find someone who will look after her, support her and be there for her. You owe her that at least.

Sorry to say but there is nothing that you can do to ease her pain about losing you. Suicide, losing a loved one, is a life changing experience. So many things can happen to those that are affected by your loss. Some people can move on, some don't. Some will even CTB due to your loss.

Must be a difficult situation for you. I couldn't care less about mine when my day arrives.

If you move the cursor over a members name it will bring up a box to either start a conversation or start a chat. I noticed that when I tried it over yours the box didn't come up yet. I know that you have to have so many posts before you are able to PM though. Not sure of the # you need.

I can see ur point and empathise as I m in the same situation as u. It is something that is holding me back plus the fact that I m gutless and can't overcome my SI. But I guess this is a no win situation for us as whatever we do or say , even if ur mom knows abt ur plan to ctb beforehand coping with it is totally another matter.

You can't tell her if you want to go through with it. She will be devastated and you can't do anything about that. The only thing you can do is do not think about her, as great pain is inevitable for her. I'm sorry you are in a tough situation but there's really not much to do apart from you accepting the consequences of your ctb.
