Unfortunate circumstances that I have put myself in have brought me back here, so I am more active than I used to be. It's good to see some old faces, which makes the loneliness feel more tolerable for a few moments.

Same here, I long for the days of the past and am being haunted by them. It is quite ironic, though.

It's ironic that this thread was bumped recently. The recent events here make me long for the days of past.

I was reluctant to give it that bump at first, especially seeing how the thread was reminding people of good times from the past and causing feelings of sadness. Still, I thought sharing a meme would be a fun way to bring it back to life and it was definitely worth it.

I also remember how fun it was posting in this thread shortly after I joined SS. I came to the site thinking that there was absolutely no hope for me and I had given up on life, but once I started to interact with people on here, I felt like I had something to look forward to again. I still don't have much hope for the future, but I'm thinking about giving recovery another shot.

Everything has its time and everything changes. Without movement and change there would be nothing, not even the luxury of memory.
I think of the past and feel nostalgia for sure, but I also try and live in the moment and move forwards as best I can. If I stop too long to dwell on the things I've lost then that will crush me.
