Interesting thing though, I was born in 1976, but, I grew up listening to like this:

All good songs. I like music from a lot of different areas as well, not just the one I was born in. I have a pretty large collection of CDs and digital music and it comes from all different genres and all different eras.


Did @Jean4 go to bed? I know it's late on the East Coast now. It's after midnight there. It's almost 9:30 PM here. A lot of people seem to stay on this thread but they don't say anything. Hello to everyone who is on the thread but isn't talking. I think everyone's fallen asleep.

Well, that was the year you were born and you probably weren't exactly listening to the music of the day. I was born in 1969 and I don't particularly like a lot of the music from that era either. A lot of that "hippie music" puts me to sleep. I like Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix and some of that, but a band like the Grateful Dead just puts me to sleep.
I assume it's because it's music that's meant to be listened to while you're high. if you listen to it and you're sober it just put you to sleep or doesn't make any sense. Disco may be similar, only in the other direction because I think they did a lot of cocaine in the 70s.

Growing up in Chicago, I listened to a 60s channel, BUT, my mom's first boyfriend? a DJ at a radio station! So I kind of had a more.... rounded exposure to music lol. My grandparents picked a reel-to-reel tape player (literal had to feed the tape), so I listened to glen miller! So yeah, I actually will dance and stuff to the music because I grew up with it lol. Totally not 'my age' but 70s overall? Some, America (the band), Chicago (they were in 70s weren't they some?).... um... no clue to others. Maybe 1-2 songs from others.

I haven't seen her for a while... I assumed that either she went to bed... passed out... or... well... 'celebrated the anniversary' by replacing the 'a' in anniversary with another letter. (not meaning to be casual... but you know... )

Yeah..... just.... odd to have this happen like this now..... it doesn't happen like this... this much... this frequent....and it's the wrong direction.

I know that's vague. it's just... well odd... I'm trying to do totally random things to make the feeling go away.

Yes, I've been drinking the same hot buttered rum for about the last 3 hours. I think I've had to heat it up 2 or 3 times now. rofl
Guess we just weren't into getting drunk tonight. Actually, I'm hoping tomorrow my brain fog is still not going to not be that bad and I'm going to be able to actually get some prep work done and go back and see what it was that I did while I was brain foggy because I've been having conversations with a few people and I think some of the things I planned out were totally wrong because of how foggy I was at the time that I planned it.

I need to go back through it with as clear of a head as I can and make sure I have all my medications correct and so forth. I don't want to mix two things that are not going to go together and mess everything up. This has to work. I cannot end up in a hospital.

Gabepentin for pain would technically prevent it even if I had it...

Although the deja vu is very specific, ironically it's only about having the deja vu, and then it's only triggered about tying something or doing something.... which while here, yeah I probably did, as I was listening to the same some almost non-stop for 10 hours, that was weird... but it was triggered by telling a friend something that I know I didn't tell him before... and that caused a cascade deja vu feeling. and that should not have happened.

if the same or similar happens again with the same type of thing, then I'll be 'worried'... also the reason I typed it here... if I mention it again, someone will be like 'uh... you said that before!'

Honestly it's probably stress lol. Today's a day off work, I've been working. I have two monitors open. A game open. 2 browsers, each with 2 tabs, and discord, just to make sure I can communicate with everyone as eeryone is using something different.

I don't always have this much open at work rofl. And I'm not intoxicated there, or had a quick thing that caused a panic mode---right before (well, more or less before) the thing that happened. lol

But I think at one point I mentioned taking Klonopin and one of those hydroxyzines, not a whole pill but maybe just a small piece of it, and somebody told me that might not be a good idea to take both of them at the same time, which is probably true because for one thing that would knock me out a little too much I think. But I think this person told me that you shouldn't take antihistamines with the regime because it has some kind of bad reaction with it. I don't know I'll have to look at it.

But I'll probably stick with the Klonopin .5 mg anyway because it's a benzo. I don't really plan on taking that many extra meds though. Just the regular regime meds- so that's the Meto, Tagamet, & SN. Then Klonopin.

The only other thing I could think of that I might consider is maybe a Tylenol in case I get a headache or something. I don't know that there's much else that I would need. And I may not even bother with the Tylenol. I know not everyone gets a headache, and even if you do get one, it's probably not that bad. I haven't heard that many people complain about a bad headache.

I don't know that there's a whole lot you can do for the tachycardia, if you get it. I really think the SN is most likely going to knock me out rather quickly anyway. That's still my hope anyway.

I had all of this stuff written down at one point and, of course, I did it while I was brain foggy and now I don't know where I put the paper I wrote it down on! Actually I just realized, I probably put it in the bottle that I've got my SN and all my other pills and stuff in. I have it all sealed up together in this canister. I don't feel like getting up right now, but I think I'll look there tomorrow because I think that's where I put the piece of paper I wrote everything down on. it just hit me while I was writing this that I think that's where it is. I've been looking everywhere for it and it's probably been under my nose this whole time. LOL

I need to put it someplace where I can find it like on my phone I guess. I can make a little chart on my phone and then, as soon as I take everything on it, I can just delete it so no one will find a piece of paper with what I took on it.

It's probably one of the main things that makes it harder for people not used to the increase. For that matter, I'd think that even taking a beta blocker it might just help, not make it great or just make you pass out quicker. Quicker someone passes out the better, given they're wanting to succeed that is :)

yep! Considering everything, it's a good thing they did though. It made it so people didn't have to resort to some painful or otherwise messy method if they didn't want to, and just opt for something that could be easily accessible.

I guess it's a common activity. These are just the rock songs. Don't even get me started on the country songs! Those are the ones that remind me of my dad.
Merle Haggard did an old song called "Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down". That's the song that makes me think of my dad the most.

Every time I drink, I play it and I do a toast to my dad. My dad is the reason that I drink. He's the reason I started drinking. I actually, when I started drinking, I was drinking his liquor. I could drink from his bottles of liquor and he would be so drunk that he would just think that he drank it. I think I was 11 or 12 at the time.

Unfortunately, alcohol and country music are old comrades. Is the old way to quick-fix a broken heart. It doesn't really help but it feels like it at the time.
