The mechanism that makes N lethal

What does N do that makes it lethal?
I ask because I know there is loss of consciousness and a coma that happens after swallowing the dose. I am obsessed about the moment that life stops and last breath is taken. Would there be any discomfort or pain as a result of that moment? I picture it like being strangled and unable to breath.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, and I'm genuinely not trying to be an ass, and I recognize that it can be a pretty unnerving thought (which is natural)... but if someone wants to end their life, then what eventually is going to happen – regardless of the method, if done "correctly" – is that they'll stop breathing. That's the point.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, and I'm genuinely not trying to be an ass, and I recognize that it can be a pretty unnerving thought (which is natural)... but if someone wants to end their life, then what eventually is going to happen – regardless of the method, if done "correctly" – is that they'll stop breathing. That's the point.

I hear what you are saying. It is just really a hard thought to wrap my mind around. I dont want to suffocate to death. I rather death comes first before i stop breathing. I know it sounds stupid but I dont want to suffocate to death if that makes any sense. Are you with me?

I get where you're coming from. I don't completely like the idea of a slow death with N over hours where breathing slows, then heart stops. An instant death seems easier to mentally accept. But instant death pretty much requires some trauma like gunshot or fall from height. N does seem to be the most peaceful just slip away in your deep sleep.

Average time to death is 25 minutes

Thank you for the clarification. I cant make up my mind if fast or slow death is better. What I dont want is to feel the death as it happens which is the most common in all the methods. I think N death suits me. I hope it does. I just cant fathom the idea of gasping for air and struggling to breath is an awful way of ctb

You'll be deep in a coma so logically speaking speaking no, only thing you'll remember is feeling tired and falling asleep, the rest is history
