The hardest thing has to be saying goodbye to my dog.

I love him very much. And I won't be abandoning him. He lives here with my sister and her dog so I think he'll acclimate well.

But he's literally the only thing that's kept me here this long. He's a wonderful beagle.

My sister and I've have had this discussion before. If one of us dies, I think we're supposed to let the dog sniff the body to bring closure? I think that's how it works. Otherwise they'll think they just left them.

Beagles are such sweet dogs. My dog just passed away today as well, he was a very sweet breed with similar temperament but a little more on the people pleasing side lol. Always wanted treats haha. Your dog sounds like he is in good hands.
